In a normal day you get up earlier, and then the rush starts, to get ready for work. To reach the office in time, you may rush out without having a breakfast. On the way you may grab some kind of fast foods and a day starts like this. There is a saying that “well begin is half done”. Is this a well beginning of a day? Is this routine good for your health? The answer is absolutely NO and it neither offers you a good start nor a healthy life.
A common question arises about breakfast is ” Why breakfast is so important? ” . Which kinds of foods are apt for a healthy breakfast? Unfortunately breakfast become a common issue for most of people, especially for office executives because they have no time to spend for anything
A day with an empty stomach decreases your blood sugar to a very dangerous level, when you are getting involved in work. This gives extra strain to your body and you may need for an instant sugar fix. Another issue is that we have not much choices of food and the traditional ones may not be healthy as we think. Since it is a common dilemma, it is better to be more conscious about the issues and here are some general suggestions for a healthy breakfast
Fiber Rich: Fibers are good for general health and no doubt about it. Including fiber rich food in your breakfast will help your digestive system a lot and prevent you from over eating. E.g.: oats, vegetables etc.
Nutritious: Breakfast must be capable of providing enough fuel for burning throughout the day. So make sure that it is nutritious.
Carbohydrate and protein rich: We all know that carbohydrate is a main energy source and are easily digestible. Foods with unrefined carbohydrate provide you more energy. Most common examples carbohydrate rich foods are fruits. Proteins provide strength for your cells. Add protein rich foods like milk, grain, pulses, meat etc. in your breakfast for a healthy life. Since protein is a macro nutrient, our body requires it in relatively large amount.
Avoid too fatty: Fatty foods like cream cheese, fried egg etc. always strains your stomach because it is very difficult to digest. So avoid it during breakfast.
